L3Harris Extends OEMServices Contract to Improve Aftermarket Services for More Customers

DALLAS, Texas — L3Harris Technologies’ (NYSE:LHX) has expanded its global aircraft-on-ground (AOG) logistics support supplier contract with OEMServices to include the Aviation Communication & Surveillance Systems (ACSS) surveillance products line and provide faster, more localized customer services.

This strategic alliance will reduce customer operating expenses by providing AOG inventory in regional locations that will enable customer flight operations to resume more quickly.

“Expanding this relationship to include L3Harris’ surveillance products for general aviation, business jet and helicopter operators will enhance our global AOG logistics and support services and reduce customer downtime,” said Adrian Paull, Vice President of Customer Support, L3Harris Commercial Aviation. “We selected OEMServices last year as an AOG Exchange and Spare partner for our recorders and standby products because of their vast experience and strong integration into the support industry. This addition of our ACSS products will truly benefit our customers.”

OEMServices will maintain strategic inventory, provide critical logistics services and act as the first point-of-contact for 24/7/365 AOG support for the ACSS business jet, helicopter and general aviation products, as well as the currently contracted commercial avionics products. The ACSS inventory will be available from OEMServices starting June 10.

Products in the contract include TCAS, transponders, SATCOM, cockpit voice and flight data recorders and standby products. OEMServices’ centers located in Paris, Dubai, Atlanta, Singapore and Shanghai will store the L3Harris inventory.
