The unit is for ground-based deployment where a higher antenna gain for more secure communications or high data rate transmission is required. When used in conjunction with masts, the C101-3 may be taken from a stored configuration and be fully deployed in less than five minutes.
The C101-3 is compatible with the AB-1 or EM4-1 antenna masts, both of which can be mounted to shelters for manual directional (azimuth and elevation) steering. Optional accessories such as the U112-Series and U131-Series permit fixed site installations on customer provided masts.
The C101-3 is extremely rugged and withstands difficult environments including the MSC-64 system requirements.
