How does MCPTT differ from traditional Push-to-Talk?

MCPTT, unlike traditional PTT which relies on narrowband networks, utilizes LTE broadband networks for enhanced reliability and quality of service. This approach takes advantage of the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) standards incorporating priority and ruthless preemption with the high-speed data transfer capabilities of broadband networks, offering users more extensive coverage and improved connection stability and audio quality.
