LHCP is standard, but RHCP is available as well. The antennas ideally suited to interferometer applications due to their unit-to-unit uniformity and broadband frequency characteristics.
The Q211 Series antennas are amplitude and phase tracked on a 100% basis as matched sets, ensuring interchangeability at the system level. In addition, the axial ratio is extremely low (considering the low frequency cutoff versus the nominal 3” diameter of the antenna) over the majority of a hemisphere. Together, these characteristics make the Q211 Series of antennas an ideal element for array and DF applications.
