As the leader of uncrewed and autonomous maritime systems, L3Harris is transforming future missions at sea. With its expanding family of surface autonomy technologies, L3Harris prioritizes customers’ mission-critical needs in defense operations worldwide.

Uncrewed capabilities are advancing within both the commercial and defense maritime sectors. Fully autonomous systems provide operational advantages by reducing human risk and enabling more complex missions.

L3Harris’ advanced technologies provide innovative solutions for customers’ toughest requirements in the uncrewed systems market.

The introduction of Shadow Fox (formerly MAST-13) in 2018 marked a revolution in maritime security with L3Harris’ 13-meter uncrewed surface vessel (USV). Shadow Fox's versatile design supports various capabilities, from intelligence gathering to anti-submarine warfare.

Since then, L3Harris has developed additional uncrewed platforms to tackle complex threats of the future.

Earlier this year, L3Harris launched the C-Worker 15, a next-generation 15-metre USV designed for extended over-the-horizon operations. The C-Worker 15 offers the largest payload capacity in its class, accommodating a wide range of payloads, including a 20-foot ISO container, inspection-class ROVs, and various towed sensors, all supported by an autonomous launch and recovery system. With a baseline power of 40 kW, the C-Worker 15 can operate remotely for up to three weeks.

Additionally, L3Harris introduced Polecat, a smaller, multi-purpose uncrewed platform. This USV can carry payloads of up to 400 kg and features an endurance range of 408 miles at a transit speed of 12 knots. Polecat also offers an upgradable baseline that can accommodate additional processors or sensors, enabling testing of third-party algorithms and payloads. Designed for research and development (R&D) and target training operations, Polecat features a reusable aluminum structure to support future projects.

L3Harris is continuously redefining the operational landscape at sea with its advanced uncrewed surface technology. The expanding range of USVs from L3Harris addresses customers' growing mission-critical needs, both now and into the future.
