MELBOURNE, Fla., March 11, 2024 — L3Harris Technologies (NYSE:LHX) has published its annual Sustainability Report, highlighting the company’s Environmental, Social and Governance programs and accomplishments to date.

“We deliver innovative, resilient, mission-critical solutions for U.S., allied and partner national security needs. As we continue to execute that strategy, we must conduct our business in a way that protects future generations,” said Byron Green, Vice President, Global Operations, L3Harris. “Our 2023 successes in sustainability further reinforce our commitment to our stakeholders, including the communities where we all live and work.”

L3Harris bolstered its greenhouse gas, water conservation and landfill diversion efforts in 2023. The State of Texas awarded L3Harris’ Greenville location the prestigious 2023 Texas Environmental Excellence Award for improving water efficiency and saving an average of 700,000 gallons of water each month. The company also signed contracts with three offsite solar projects in New York for approximately 50% of the electrical load for five of its locations in the Rochester area.

Internally, the company established two new employee resource groups, including the Middle Eastern & North African Descent & Allies organization, and 5GEN, which fosters the exchange of knowledge among the five distinct generations within the L3Harris workforce.

L3Harris’ Board of Directors oversees the company’s sustainability efforts and priorities. The Sustainability Report aligns with the frameworks provided by the Global Reporting Initiative, the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Task Force for Climate-Related Financial Disclosures.
