MELBOURNE, Fla. — L3Harris Technologies (NYSE:LHX) has unveiled a solar tree in Palm Bay, Florida and issued its annual Sustainability Report, which highlights the company’s strategy for, and progress within, its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) program.

The solar tree, located outside the L3Harris Technology Center, reflects the company’s commitment to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions, and is an extension of the larger Elm Branch solar project in Texas, which is comprised of more than 360,000 solar panels.

The Sustainability Report showcases L3Harris’ progress toward its 2026 goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 30%, water consumption by 20% and increase diversion of waste to landfills by 75%. As part of its environmental goals, L3Harris continues to create technologies, such as those aboard NOAA’s GOES-T satellite, that lead to solving complex sustainability challenges.
