The L3Harris PAC is a voluntary, nonpartisan political action committee established by L3Harris Technologies in accordance with federal law. The L3Harris PAC is not funded by corporate dollars. It is funded solely from the voluntary, personal contributions from its members, who are primarily L3Harris employees. The L3Harris PAC is governed by the L3Harris PAC Board, a group of senior leaders from across the company. These leaders are appointed to this role by our CEO. The L3Harris PAC undergoes annual audits and reports findings to the L3Harris PAC Board, our CEO, and the Audit Committee of L3Harris’ Board.
The L3Harris PAC is the sole method L3Harris uses to make political contributions, and L3Harris does not make direct contributions with L3Harris’ funds or other assets to candidates for US federal, state or local office [or for ballot initiatives, political parties, or section 527 entities].
The L3Harris PAC supports candidates seeking federal office, as well as selected state and local offices, national political organizations, and other political action committees. Contributions are made on the basis of a candidate or candidates’ policy positions on issues of importance to the aerospace and defense industry as well as their representation of L3Harris employees and facilities. Contributions are reviewed with the L3Harris PAC Board and the Vice President of Government Relations provides political contribution updates to the L3Harris Board or Nominating and Governance Committee on a regular basis.
