Uncrewed surface vehicles (USVs)

MiniRanger

The MiniRanger is a compact and effective unmanned vehicle created to perform autonomous underwater surveys, along with a wide range of other underwater tasks.

The MiniRanger offers solutions to all the environments and conditions where unmanned operations are required for safety and flexibility, performing tasks such as:

  • Marine drone for underwater and minehunting missions
  • Security and surveillance
  • Search, localization and classification operations performed on areas being surveyed
  • Site survey performed using payloads sensors

The system supports three operational modes:

  • Manned
  • Remotely controlled
  • Semi-autonomous

U-Ranger

U-Ranger is a dual-use manned/unmanned modular platform intended to host and support a wide range of weapon/sensor payloads used to perform multiple operational tasks.

Three hull sizes:
U-Ranger MH for heavy payloads - 11m Minesweeping and anti-submarine warfare
U-Ranger MS for medium payloads - 7mMaritime security and special operations forces
support
MiniRanger for small payloads - <5m Minehunting and hydrographic operations
  • Safety
  • Efficiency
  • High payload
  • High endurance
  • Low TCO
  • Real-time communications
  • Expeditionary
  • Modularity
  • Flexibility
  • Open interface to system of systems
  • Manual assisted: Drone heading and thrust controlled by joystick/keyboard
  • Automatic: Track-keeping of planned tracks; drone motion continuously monitored by master station
